Christopher M Denault - E-RYT 200, YACEP

Not your stereotypical yogi. People are often surprised when they find out that I practice yoga. During high school I played as many sports as possible. I continued that trend playing football and lacrosse at Carnegie Mellon University while obtaining my bachelor degree in electrical and computer engineering. I was your typical football-loving, beer-drinking, party animal, frat boy throughout college. After graduating I returned to South Florida to work with my family, not loving the cold of Pittsburgh may have had a small part of that decision.

In 2013, realizing drinking and football games were no longer cutting it as my main stress relievers, I decided to try this thing called yoga. I’ve been hooked ever since. I was amazed to find how a little focused effort, body movement and breathing could help me manage stress better. Since then my practice has expanded to include a wide variety of styles such as: Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha, Gentle, Yin, Restoravtive, Aerial, and SUP. I completed my 200 hr YTT in 2015 at Key Largo Yoga under the guidance of Kathy Shirley. In 2017 I gained the qualifications for 'E-RYT 200' (Experienced Registerd Yoga Teacher), and in 2018 have began my 300 YTT with Tymi Howard.

My Philosophy

My biggest fear going into yoga was the modern perception of it being filled with bendy girls doing trendy poses for Instagram. How would a goofy, overweight, and uncoordinated guy fit in to a class filled with a bunch of beautiful and insanely flexible women doing crazy things? Deciding to attend my first class was one of the hardest and simultaneously most stress-reducing parts of my yogic journey. I was relieved to open the door and see normal people just like me. I no longer saw the “stereotypical yogi” and instead saw men and women, young and less young, all there committed to making a change for the better.

I have always believed that the mind is an incredibly powerful tool. That with Belief, Will, and Faith in your mind, anything can be accomplished. I see that everyday in my journey and in those of others around me. This only further strengthens my belief in that where the mind goes, the body will follow.

Lori Dye - RYT 200

Lori has been practicing yoga for most of her life. She loves sharing the sense of balance and wholeness that is cultivated through practice with others. The overall feeling of peace and joy that come along with the physical benefits of a yoga practice is what fuels her daily practice.

Lori is known for her warm and inviting teaching style, engaging and challenging students to be mindful and listen to their bodies. She enjoys bringing stillness and movement together on the mat and offers modifications in her classes, making yoga accessible to all. In addition to practicing and teaching yoga, Lori is also a Life Coach and teaches Life Coaching and Meditation & Mindfulness courses at a holistic college.
